Kick-Off Events

The Ann Arbor Art Fair is taking over the streets of downtown Ann Arbor early with two community events as a kickoff for the fair’s artistic festivities. Dart For Art and Paint the Town Block pARTy embody creativity and collaboration between the three fairs that make up the Ann Arbor Art Fair and are designed to bring the community together and showcase the vibrant talent and collective spirit that defines the city of Ann Arbor and the Ann Arbor Art Fair.

Lace up your shoes and join the excitement of the Dart for Art, an all-inclusive one-mile run/walk in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor. Whether you’re a top runner competing for prizes or a family just looking for some fun, this one mile course has something for everyone.

The exciting downtown Ann Arbor course is from S. State to Division. The Dart pARTy and the Paint the Town Block pARTy runs from 5 PM - 9 PM on July 14th 2026 from Liberty to Main. Come on out and join the fun! Let's make this one-mile race a day to remember!
